Brad Skajko
Director | Head of AI & Automation
Brad Skajko founded OreNova Engineering in 2025. Brad holds a Master of Professional Engineering (Mechanical) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Finance from the University of Western Australia, with additional studies in aeronautical engineering at the University of Calgary.
Brad has experience in rare earth and uranium mine processing plant design, working across beneficiation, hydrometallurgical processes, and pilot plant development. Brad's engineering expertise covers mechanical equipment selection, piping systems, concentrate handling, and materials of construction across corrosive and abrasive process environments.
Brad developed a 3D heat transfer model for radioisotope heater units used in spacecraft applications, requiring advanced computational modelling across complex thermal environments.
Prior to founding OreNova, Brad spent several years building AI-integrated automation tools for commercial workflows across other industries. In 2025, Brad applied this automation expertise to the mineral processing sector, where manual, spreadsheet-driven engineering workflows presented a clear opportunity for transformation.
At OreNova, Brad leads the development of the company's proprietary AI platform.
